About Survivor Healthcare

Survivor Healthcare is an innovative virtual telehealth clinic that supports cancer survivors from diagnosis through long-term survivorship. We work as a multidisciplinary team to provide whole-patient care, with a demonstrated ability to improve quality of life and health outcomes for our patients. We work across several sub-specialties, including oncology, occupational therapy, mental health, and nutrition.

About You

We are seeking a part-time Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about working with cancer survivors to achieve their health goals. We work in a continuously evolving virtual environment. The right candidate must be adaptable, self-sufficient, and committed to providing compassionate, whole-patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Complete program intake evaluations for new patients, assessing patients' needs, goals, and limitations
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team to provide integrative care
  • Provide program education to patients and outside clinicians
  • Support the multidisciplinary team by giving direction and support for patient treatment plans
  • Communicate with the patient’s primary oncology team or PCP as needed

Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice as a Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum of five years experience in oncology or palliative care
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the fly
  • Patient visits are conducted via our telehealth platform and require clinicians to have a private residential area that is HIPAA-compliant
  • Exceptional ability to establish rapport and communicate in person, telephonically, and online
  • Highly compassionate personality with the ability to motivate other
  • High-functioning personal computer with webcam, high-speed internet connection, and smartphone
  • Technologically proficient and able to use G-Suite, electronic medical records, and VOIP systems
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH and patient confidentiality

Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and other basic office equipment. Requires frequent sitting and bending and occasional walking and standing.

Salary and Hours

  • Salary based on experience
  • Hours: 10-20 hours per week
  • Telemedicine-based, all work can be done remotely

Pay: $65 - $75 hourly DOE
